Schmoozing vs. The Shared Activity Principle

Brian Uzzi and Shannon Dunlap's article "How To Build Your Network" in the Harvard Business Review gives some great insight into how one can build a strong and diverse personal network. This article isn't about LinkedIn specifically, but offers insights that when put to use could lead to stronger and more diverse connections within LinkedIn.
